Senior Thermodynamics Specialist
Dr. James Olson has more than 35 years of chemical R&D experience in Union Carbide, Dow Chemical, and MATRIC. He has extensive knowledge of experimental thermodynamics, including phase equilibria, transport properties, and thermophysical properties data needed for process engineering design, regulatory compliance, and operation of chemical process units. He has served as Group Leader in Union Carbide's Thermophysical Properties Skill Center.
Dr. Olson received a BA in Chemistry from Carroll College and a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Michigan State University.
