Joel Chittum has joined MATRIC as a new software developer. In this role, he will be a part of the Advanced Software Technologies team and will be working on the development of a platform to integrate multiple geologic modeling tools.
Previously, Joel worked on the Comprehensive Large Array-data Stewardship System (CLASS) developed for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
“The skills Joel has obtained from working on a large federal government project team will allow him to help MATRIC deliver quality products for our government customers,” said Mark Dehlin, director, Advanced Software Technologies, MATRIC.
Joel earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from West Virginia Institute of Technology, where he also helped research, develop and design various IT related projects.
Joel currently resides in Shinnston, W.Va., and will be working out of MATRIC’s Morgantown, W.Va., office.
